Starting Thursday March 5, 2026 Town of Elk Mound is implementing temporary weight restrictions on all town roads EXCEPT 970th St between University St and Hwy 12 AND 555th Ave. Based on road conditions, weight restrictions can be imposed earlier than the above effective date or additional roads may be added at any time. Weight restrictions are 5 ton per single axle and 10 ton for any two axles 8 feet apart.
